Plan an In-App Event
Write event copy within Apple’s limits and create the event as a draft in App Store Connect, or prepare Google Play promotional content.

What You Need
- An App Project
- Credits: 5 per draft
- Owner or admin, and App Store Connect connected, to create drafts

Open Events
Project › Events
The Events tab shows Events in App Store Connect (or Promotional content for Google Play).

Describe the Event
Under What is the event?, describe it, then pick the badge, goal and dates. An App Store event runs at most 31 days.

Write the Copy
Click Write event copy for the event name, short and long description within Apple’s limits, using your keywords.

Create the Draft
Click Create draft in App Store Connect. The draft is created for the countries where you track keywords. Add the event card image and submit it for review in App Store Connect.
What You Get
An event that can show in search results, on your product page and in the Today tab.
- Google Play has no API for promotional content: click Copy all and paste it in Play Console › Grow users › Promotional content.
