What you need

  • Access to your site’s files (FTP, file manager, hosting panel) or to your DNS

    Get your key

    Web SEO › Security scan

    Open Security scan or a Site audit report › Instant indexing. Searvia shows a key and a download button for the key file.

    Option 1: upload the key file

    Upload the file to the root of your site so that it opens at https://yoursite.com/KEY.txt. On WordPress hosting this is usually the public_html folder.

    Option 2: add a DNS record

    Or add a TXT record to the root of your domain with the value shown in Searvia (searvia-site-verification=KEY). DNS changes can take a few minutes.

    Verify

    Click Verify ownership. When it succeeds, the next scan also checks exposed files and CORS, and new or changed pages are sent to Bing, Yandex and other engines after every audit.
