Use the Searvia REST API

Read rankings, AI visibility, site health, reviews and market data from your own scripts and dashboards, with the same keys and limits as MCP.

About 4 minutes

What You Need

  • An API key from Settings › API & MCP
  • Any plan: Free includes 100 API and MCP calls a month, Indie 1,000, Starter and above unlimited
  1. 1

    Create a Key

    Account › API & MCP

Create a key for the script or server that will call the API. It works only in the account you are in when you create it.

  2. 2

Send It as a Bearer Token

Call https://searvia.com/api/v1 with the header Authorization: Bearer followed by your key. Start with GET /projects to see your project ids.

  3. 3

    Pick Endpoints from the Reference

The developer page lists every endpoint; the OpenAPI file at /api/v1/openapi.json has all fields and works with Postman, Insomnia and code generators.

  4. 4

    Handle Pages, Limits and Errors

Lists take page and per_page. Watch X-RateLimit-Remaining; on 429 wait for Retry-After. Errors always come as error.status, error.code and error.message.

What You Get

Your data flows into your own tools without copying from the panel.

  • Calls that use credits run without a preview and return 402 when the balance is too low. Every change made with a key appears in the audit log with the key name.
  • For flat daily rows (one keyword per day, one AI answer, one audit) use the report endpoints under /projects/{id}/reports.

Troubleshooting and Questions

Is it the same as MCP?
Yes. Each endpoint runs the same tool as the MCP server, so results, plan limits and credits match. MCP is for AI assistants; the REST API is for code.
Can a read-only connection change data?
No. Apps connected with read-only access get 403 on endpoints that change or spend.
