Connect App Store Connect

Collect your own reviews from the official source, publish replies and send metadata to your next version from Searvia.

What you need

  • An App Store Connect user with the Admin role

    Open the API keys page

    App Store Connect › Users and Access › Integrations › Team Keys

    In App Store Connect, open Users and Access, then Integrations, then Team Keys.

    Generate a key

    Click the plus button, name it Searvia and give it the App Manager and Customer Support roles. Customer Support is needed to reply to reviews, App Manager to edit metadata. Admin also works.

    Download the key once

    Download the .p8 file. Apple lets you download it only once, so keep it safe until you have connected. Copy the Issuer ID shown above the table and the Key ID of the new key.

    Add it to Searvia

    Settings › Connections › App Store Connect

    In Searvia open Settings › Connections › App Store Connect, paste the Issuer ID and Key ID, choose the .p8 file and click Connect. The key is stored encrypted and never shown again.

What you get

Reviews arrive from Apple directly, replies you approve go live in the App Store, and metadata suggestions can be sent to your next version.

  • Use a key from the team that owns the apps. Apps the key cannot see are marked in amber.
  • Metadata is saved to the next version; you still submit that version for review in App Store Connect.
