Publish metadata to the App Store or Google Play
Edit your live listing in Searvia and send only the changed fields to App Store Connect or Google Play.
About 4 minutes
What You Need
- App Store Connect or Google Play connected (App Manager role, or Manage store presence)
- Owner or Admin in Searvia
- 1
Open the Publisher
Project › Metadata › Publish to :store
On the Metadata tab, Publish to App Store Connect (or Google Play) loads your live listing for the chosen localization.
- 2
Edit
Change the fields or click Load into publishing on a suggestion. Live listing check scores the text against the store rules as you type.
- 3
Pick the Version (App Store)
Searvia writes to the version in Prepare for Submission. If there is none, enter a New version number and Searvia creates it when you publish.
- 4
Publish
Click Publish changed fields. Nothing is written if the listing changed in the store since you loaded it; click Reload and try again.
- 5
Submit
On the App Store you still upload a build and submit the version for review in App Store Connect. On Google Play the change is sent for Google’s usual review.
What You Get
Metadata goes live without copy and paste, and the change shows up in Did your changes work? a week later.
- What’s New can be translated to all other localizations and sent in one click (2 credits per language).
- To add a localization that does not exist yet, tick “Create the localization in App Store Connect when publishing”. Screenshots are not copied.
Troubleshooting and Questions
- Why are most fields locked?
- There is no editable version, so only the promotional text can change now. Enter a new version number to publish the other fields.
- The Publisher Does Not Appear
- Connect App Store Connect or Google Play under Account › Connections first.
