Write metadata for every localization a storefront indexes
The App Store searches several localizations in many countries. Use each one for new keywords instead of repeating the same words.
About 5 minutes
What You Need
- An app project with tracked keywords
- Credits: 10 per localization written
- The Pro or Studio plan to write all localizations in one go
- 1
Open the Metadata Tab
Project › Metadata › Metadata suggestions
Metadata suggestions are written from your tracked keywords, their popularity, difficulty and opportunity, and your competitors’ listings.
- 2
Read the Localization Planner
The Localization planner lists the extra localizations the App Store also searches in your country. Each adds 160 characters of keyword space (title, subtitle, keyword field).
- 3
Write
Choose a localization in Write suggestions for and click Write suggestions, or click Write all localizations. Your listing is written first and keeps the best words; each other localization adds new words.
- 4
Pick and Polish
Each run gives three options, from safest to boldest, each scored against the store rules. Use Make better to improve one, or Try in the simulator to see coverage.
- 5
Send It
Click Load into publishing to put an option into the publisher, then publish.
What You Get
More keywords indexed in the same country, without stuffing your main listing.
- Google Play indexes the full description instead of a keyword field: use Write the description on the same tab.
