Pack your iOS keyword field (100 bytes)
Fill the App Store keyword field with your best tracked words, without repeats, and check the result before you publish.
About 3 minutes
What You Need
- An App Store project with tracked keywords
- App Store Connect connected, to read your current keyword field (optional)
- 1
Open the Simulator
Project › Metadata › Metadata simulator
Open the Metadata tab and scroll to Metadata simulator. It loads your current title, subtitle and keyword field.
- 2
Pack the Field
Click Pack keyword field: Searvia fills 100 bytes with your best tracked words first, leaving out words already in the title or subtitle.
- 3
Read the Rule Check
Rule check flags repeated words (Apple indexes each word once across title, subtitle and keyword field), length and other store rules.
- 4
See What You Gain
Tracked keywords covered and Opportunity change show which keywords you gain or lose against your current listing. Free, no AI.
- 5
Publish
Copy the field to App Store Connect, or use Publish to App Store Connect on the same tab when your account is connected.
What You Get
A keyword field with no wasted bytes and a clear view of what it covers.
- Use commas without spaces. Plurals and singular forms are usually matched by Apple, so you rarely need both.
Troubleshooting and Questions
- Why is my current keyword field empty in the simulator?
- The keyword field is private. Connect App Store Connect so Searvia can read it; until then it counts as empty in the comparison.
