Release an App Store version from Searvia

Prepare the version, upload screenshots, pick the build, fill in App Review details and submit for review without opening App Store Connect.

About 15 minutes

What You Need

  • App Store Connect connected with a key that has the App Manager role
  • A build uploaded from Xcode, Transporter or your CI
  • Owner or admin role in your Searvia account
  1. 1

    Open the Release Tab

    Project › Release

Open your app project and choose Release. The checklist is read live from App Store Connect; steps marked To do block the submission.

  2. 2

    Start the Version

    Release › Release Type

If no version is being prepared, enter the next version number (Searvia suggests one) and click Create version. Then choose how it is released: automatically after approval, manually or on a date, and whether to use a 7-day phased release.

  3. 3

    Complete the Store Text

Release › Store text in every language

The Store text step lists every language with a missing name, description, keywords, What’s New or support link. Edit the text in the Metadata tab and add the support and privacy policy links in the Links form.

  4. 4

    Upload Screenshots

Release › Screenshots and app previews

Choose a language and add screenshots for each display size. Searvia checks Apple’s exact pixel sizes and transparency before uploading. Use the arrows to reorder, then Save order. Copy to other localizations reuses the same images in other languages without uploading them again.

  5. 5

    Select the Build

Release › Build and export compliance

Builds with the same version number appear after Apple processes them. Pick one and answer the export compliance question: most apps that only use HTTPS choose No.

  6. 6

    Fill in App Review Information

    Release › App Review Information

Add the contact person and, if the app needs sign-in, a working demo account. The password is stored encrypted and never shown again; Searvia fills these details into your next version automatically.

  7. 7

Answer the age rating and category

Release › Age rating, category and price

Answer every age rating question, choose the categories and the content rights answer. The price is shown for checking; it is changed in App Store Connect.

  8. 8

    Check App Privacy and Submit

    Release › Submit for Review

Apple’s API cannot read App Privacy details, so open them from the checklist and check them in App Store Connect. When nothing is left To do, click Submit for review, review the summary and confirm.

What You Get

The version is in Apple’s review queue. Searvia checks its status every 30 minutes and notifies you when it is in review, approved, rejected or ready for sale.

  • Turn on “App Review status changes” in Settings › Notifications to get these updates by email, Telegram, Slack or webhook.
  • Every step is also available to AI assistants through the Searvia MCP tools; changes are previewed until you confirm them.
  • Only the account owner and admins can change the store; members can view the checklist.
